Chicago

Chance of Snow, Cold Temperatures This Weekend

Accumulated snow will soon be on the ground in Chicago. One to two inches are expected to fall Saturday night after 5 p.m. into Sunday morning.

Most of the heavy snow will stay in northern Illinois, but snow flurries will continue in Chicago throughout the weekend.

The high temperatures for Saturday and Sunday are in the upper 20s and low 30s. Skies will begin to clear Sunday night into Monday followed by another arctic outbreak of cold temperatures.

Temperatures will stay in the mid-20s for a high on Monday and Tuesday, well below the average for this time of year.
