One person extricated from a van was taken to the hospital Tuesday when the vehicle slid underneath a school bus.
The crash happened on West 143rd Street near 87th Avenue in Orland Park.
Witnesses told NBC Chicago the school bus driver was the sole occupant of that vehicle.
West 143rd Street was completely closed in the area for a brief time but authorities opened one lane of traffic in each direction during the 6 p.m. hour.
