A bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a tractor-trailer in far south suburban Lansing.
The crash happened on the Torrence Avenue ramp to eastbound Interstate 80-94. The ramp was closed as of 6:30 a.m. as authorities invesigated.
The bicyclist was identified as 46-year-old Gene Allen Scow, of the 100 block of Hillcrest Lane in Bartlett.
Commuters needing to access I-80/94 were advised to take Ridge Road across the state line to Calumet Avenue.
