Identities Released of Four Killed in Crash

Four people were killed, one injured in a Thursday morning crash on the 2600 block of North Narragansett Avenue

Autopsies were scheduled for Friday for four people killed a day earlier in a crash on Chicago's northwest side.

The victims were identified as Chicago residents Ricardo Rociles, 22, Jesus Salgado, 19, Rafael Leal, 19, and 19-year-old Jennifer Robles of Harvard, Ill.

A fifth person, a female, remained in critical condition at Loyola University Medical Center.

The crash occurred just before 3 a.m. on the 2600 block of North Narragansett Avenue. behind a Lowe's store. Surveillance video reviewed by authorities showed the BMW 328xi traveling at a high rate of speed before it crashed into the building, near a collection of propane tanks, an investigator said.

Just two of the people in the car -- those in the front seats -- were wearing seatbelts, said Elliot Musial, an investigator for the police Major Accidents Unit. The three passengers in the rear seats were not buckled in, he said.

Authorities did not say where the victims were seated in the car.
