O'Hare Terminal Getting First-Class Upgrade

15 new businesses, restaurants to be added to Terminal 5 by Fall 2013

Enduring long delays at O'Hare Airport is about to get a lot easier.

The Chicago Department of Aviation and Westfield Concession Management have announced a large-scale renovation of Terminal 5 at the airport.

Fifteen new dining and retail options will be completed at the terminal by Fall 2013.

The reconfigured terminal will add the retail options after the security gates, whereas 95 percent of airport businesses are currently located pre-security.

Retail stores will include Bvlgari, Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo and Emporio Armani. Chicago chef Rick Bayless headlines the new food options with a Tortas Frontera restaurant. Other restaurants you may be used to dining at in the city will open outposts at the airport such as Lettuce Entertain You's HUB 51, Big Bowl and Wow Bao.

A new duty-free store and a spa business will also be added to the mix.
