A child was injured Wednesday afternoon after falling on a plane headed for Midway International Airport.
Will Knight, a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department, said the child fell out of their seat while the plane was in the air. The plane was scheduled to land in Chicago before connecting elsewhere.
The Chicago Fire Department was called to the scene after a stewardess called authorities to make sure the kid was OK.
Knight said the child suffered minor injuries and the family refused medical attention.
