A Chicago Transit Authority bus hit a man crossing the street Thursday night, police said.
The bus was on Division Street when it hit the man crossing at Kedvale Avenue, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The pedestrian, who police said appeared to be intoxicated, was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious-to-critical condition.
The driver of the bus was not injured but was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital because he was "shaken up," according to the Tribune.
