Authorities Identify Men Killed in Bishop Ford Crash

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said

Two men who were killed in a South Side crash early Sunday on the Bishop Ford Expressway (I-94) have been identified.

Lamont F. Taylor Jr., 25, and Darryl B. Clark, 26, were in a car that was speeding when it struck the back of a semi truck about 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Bishop Ford at Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.

The semi truck had stopped or was stopping in traffic.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Taylor lived in the 4500 block of South Drexel, and Clark in the 10400 block of South Sangamon, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Autopsies for both were scheduled for Monday.

The driver of the semi truck was not injured, according to authorities.
