Sweet Deals on Super Saturday

It's the last weekend before Christmas, and there's apparently a lot of shopping that needs to be done.

According to a National Retail Federation survey conducted last week, over 19 percent of shoppers said they haven't even started making their lists and checking them twice. Only 8.6 percent of respondents said they've finished their shopping.

Many say they're holding off, hoping they'll be rewarded with some big sales next week.

Though with less inventory this year, deeper discounts may be harder to find.

Here's some ideas:

At Walmart, a stash of those mega-popular Zhu Zhu Hamsters will become available. The retailer plans to seel them for $8 Monday through Wednesday, or as long as supplies last. Other selected toys will be available for $8, and if you buy an iPod Nano, through Christmas Eve you can get a $50 iTunes gift card.

At Toys R Us, a $10 gift card is offered with the purchase of any iPod, and Nickelodeon DvDs have been marked down by 30 percent.

Gap is slicing 25 percent off nearly everything this weekend and is offering $20 gift cards with a purchase of regular priced adult jeans.

Target is throwing in a $30 store gift card with the purchase of a Nintendo Wii, a $10 gift card with the purchase of the Nintendo DSi and select Nintendo DS games will be priced at $25.

JC Penney is offering 100 bargains this weekend, including 60 percent off all women's robes, all blankets and throws and all men's hooded fleece jackets.

At Macy's, customers buying two or more men's sweaters, shirts and t-shirts will get half off the total this weekend. Other items at 50 percent off include men's sportcoats, overcoats and raincoats and selected women's cold-weather boots.

At Borders, Rewards members can get 30 percent off any single item through Monday in stores or online at borders.com
