Can’t get enough of Chicago? Well then, you’re in luck, because a store featuring Chicago-themed stationary and gifts has launched.
It’s called Third Coast Collection, a line of Chicago-centric stationery and bags from Chicago-lover Kara Underwood Gordon.
Gordon was, simply put, bored to death of the dull Chicago thank-you note scene and was inspired to come up with something on her own. The result? A line of traditional letterpress-printed cards with modern idioms -- Gordon’s take on Chicago and the good ol’ fashioned Midwest.
The online store features cards that highlight neighborhoods, transit routes and gender-neutral Chicago themes like Lincoln Park cards, cards with Chicago zip codes, “I Heart Chicago” designs and more.
In addition to thank-you notes and cards, Gordon also sells reusable cotton carry-all bags blazoned with city area codes (312, 773) and “I Heart Chicago.” The locally-designed bags are a steal at $16.50.
Ah, sweet home Chicago.
