Shop Grasshopper 510, and Turn the Holidays Green

It was a great summer for new eco-boutique, Grasshopper 510.

After opening in May, the store got a ton of press (much of it focusing on the unusual name) and launched a website to allow followers to shop online.

As the holidays approach, we think more good things are in store for the Grasshopper. Why, you ask? Because this store has a gift for everyone from gurgling babies to knitting grandmas – all with a green twist. Everything in the store is made from recycled, re-purposed, sustainable or organic materials.

We like their baseball cuff links for the Cubs fanatic in your life (made with actual balls used in the majors!), a Hancock Building pillow for your trendy, urban sister, and a collection of poems from children’s author J. Patrick Lewis printed on paper that was sustainably harvested.

You'll probably find a few items to add to your own list for Santa. (Like these recycled aluminum vases - hint, hint.)
