On Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City," Alex McCord showed a penchant for living a lavish lifestyle, often going on extravagant shopping trips with her husband. So it only makes sense that she'll be in Chicago next week to help celebrate the opening of a clothing store. The fact that it's a resale shop is a bit of a head scratcher, but we'll play along.
McCord will attend the grand opening of Second Time Around (823 W. Armitage) on Wednesday Aug. 26th from 6 - 8 p.m.
Second Time Around is an upscale consignment store which started in Boston. The Chicago store is the first location outside of the East Coast, where there are 19 locations.
Expect lots of edible and drinkable goodies from event sponsors Moet Chandon, Berry Chill and Belvedere Black Raspberry.
