Need Something Fabulous? Shop the Modern Vintage Holiday Market

Here’s the problem. There’s always that one person on our holiday shopping list we can’t figure out what to get.

If you’re about to throw cash in a card and call it a holiday, head to the Modern Vintage Market this weekend at 2301 N. Clark Street.

From the very tacky to the very fabulous – you’re the problem if you can’t find a gift here. The market is a menagerie of ties, scarves, cuff links, blouses, artwork, jewelery, and everything in between. They even have vintage engagement rings. 

It starts tonight with a shopping preview party. Tickets are $40 at the door, or $30 online, and part of the proceeds benefit the Anti-Cruelty Society. (That’s why special guest, Puddin’, the dancing dog will be performing, and from what we’ve heard, he'd kick some tail on Dancing with the Stars.)

Over the weekend, admission is only $10, and you get it back if you spend more than $50.

See? Just like that, your shopping is done, and you can go home and teach Fifi some of Puddin's moves.
