Indie Fashion Pop Up Shop

Four boutiques join forces this weekend

We love scouting out the latest fashions at Chicago’s hottest boutiques, but driving all over the city to get to each one and paying the often-expensive price tags make us think twice before making the trek.

Luckily enough for our fashion senses, the stores are making it a little easier to spend a buck this weekend at the Indie Fashion Pop Up Shop.

On August 6-7, four Chicago boutiques are merging their goods in one convenient spot (right in Lincoln Park) for a mega sale you won’t want to miss. Heavily-discounted spring, summer and fall merchandise will all be on the menu hot-to-trot boutiques Cerato, Perchance, Tangerine and Belly Dance.

Each boutique is offering 60-80 percent off their duds, and the best part is, it's not just old summer stuff; you can shop for the upcoming fall season and still get it on the cheap.

"Our four boutiques have come together to support and help each other grow through exposure to new customers," Cerato's Cerato's Tracey Glibowski. "For example, Tangerine's customers, located in Bucktown, can be exposed and introduced to the Southport boutiques, such as Cerato and Perchance. We wanted to provide a fun, unique and easy way for customers to shop a wide range of designers in one convenient location."

"These four boutiques in particular offer a wide range of merchandise -- everything from local designer pieces, high- end mainstream lines, and maternity, and it's a one-stop shop.

The shop will be open from 1-5 pm on Friday and 10-3 pm on Saturday at 2215 W Halsted Street in the old Abercrombie and Fitch space.
