For those who missed the totally overrated Black Friday sales that demand you rise out of bed so early on your day off, you could head there straight from the bars Thursday night, you’re in luck.
It turns out, the holiday shopping extravaganzas are only beginning.
Head to the third annual Glitter Holiday Shopping event November 30 and December 1 to find gifts galore. The Chicago Cultural Center hosts the two day event from 11am-8pm.
Shop merchandise from more than 35 local Chicago designers. Everything from womenswear to handbags and accessories are up for grabs.
Designer must-sees include Kirsten Goede and her sparkle-filled jewelry line Objets d’Envy ($10-$120) and Kristin Hassan and her namesake casual womenswear line ($20-$150). Tracy Mayer’s line of cufflinks for men are the perfect gift to snag for the dudes who we can’t seem to find anything for. Plus, the wide price range of items makes us sigh with relief that we can find something within our budget.
