Who says you can’t get anything for free? Uptown bar Fat Cat is doing its part to make Hump Day the best day of the week with a last minute ticket giveaway every Wednesday in October. The bar has tickets to shows at nearby Aragon Ballroom and The Riviera, including the Kings of Leon at Aragon on Oct. 31.
Fat Cat is known for its creative cocktails, such as the Hi Hat with muddled basil and grapes, vodka splashed with ginger ale and simple syrup, or the Navy Grog, which combines light, dark, and gold rums, a splash of grapefruit, fresh lime squeeze, honey syrup and club soda.
Down a few of these, enjoy a braised pork belly sammy or tuna melt, and keep your fingers crossed that your name gets drawn in the raffle for some free tickets.
Wednesdays may just become your favorite day of the week.
