The Great Burger Bailout Plan

Patty Burger, a Financial District favorite, offers a bankable deal

All this talk of bank bailout plans is making us... hungry? Maybe we're emotional eaters. Anyway, Patty Burger, a Financial District eatery that has gained acclaim from the neighborhood Loop lunch crowd since opening in 2007, is offering a bailout plan of its own, and it's offering more instant gratification than anything the government is dishing out.

Starting on Monday, March 9 and continuing every Monday through April 13 (right before before D Day, we mean Tax Day), Patty Burger will offer anyone holding a bank card -- we're talking a debit card, credit card, any piece of plastic with a bank's logo (and really, that pretty much means everybody) -- will get 50 percent off of their meal. The offer goes from 11AM until 5PM, so drop by for a discounted lunch or early dinner on your way home from the salt mines.
