Spend New Year's Eve With a Top Chef (Contestant)

Radhika Desai, chef of Between Boutique Cafe & Lounge and current contestant on this season of Bravo's Top Chef, is the toast of the town (Chicagoans love their chefs and reality show stars). Her popular Wicker Park restaurant is sure to be a celebratory spot this New Year's Eve thanks to its chef's 15 minutes of fame, plus Top Chef is set to air at 9PM on Wednesday, Dec. 31!

Chef Desai has planned a five-course, prix-fixe menu to be served at two dinner seatings (from 6-8:30PM). As viewers of the competitive cooking show know, Desai's style is global small plates, so guests will have the chance to sample everything from a duo of oysters to lobster ravioli to braised oxtail ragout. The meal finishes on a sweet and kitschy note with "Flashback to the '70s," a dessert of chocolate fondue with fruit, mini cheesecakes and pound cake for dunking. The dinner is $75 with wine pairings.

From 9PM-midnight, diners can take part in the prix-fixe menu, along with complimentary cocktails throughout the evening and a bottle of champagne, cava, prosecco or blanc de blanc for $150 per person.
