Graham Elliot Bowles Doesn't Follow Anyone On Twitter

But the rest of Chicago's chefs follow lots of folks

Graham Elliot Bowles doesn't care what you have to say.

At least not on Twitter.

The supersized Chicago chef, known for his eponymous River North restaurant and his excellent Chris Farley impression, is followed by 1,380 followers, but follows not a soul.

Not even fellow Chicago chefs.

To wit: Paul Kahan, who has 1,400+ followers and follows 37 folks, including Chicago chefs Rick Bayless and Alpana Singh.

But he's not followed by Bowles.

Grant Achatz has 6,500+ followers and follows 27, including the Chicago editions of Tasting Table and Grub Street. Bowles doesn't follow him, either.

Stephanie Izard? 3,300+ followers, follows 49. Nope, no Bowles.

Adding insult to insult, Bowles' industry colleagues follow an average of 296 people on Twitter.

That's according to a quick back-of-the-napkin analysis of 25 Chi-based chefs (cribbed from here), including The Bristol's Chris Pandel (following 285), Tru's Rick Tramonto (following 3,205), and Stephanie Izard (following 49).

And p.s., Chicago chefs follow more people than the average Twitter user, who follows 69 people, according to a 2008 report from marketing company HubStop.

So. Bowles. C'mon. Be a follower for once. We're waiting.
