Eat for a Good Cause

We eat because we're hungry. We eat because we're bored.  We eat because we're depressed. How about eating for a good cause for a change?  Imagine that: a noble reason to stuff our faces and feel good about it.

In recognition of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, more than 50 Chicago-area restaurants will participate in The Lynn Sage Foundation's Chicago's In Good Taste campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The restaurants will add $1 per check (customers may opt out or choose to add more) to donate to the Lynn Sage Foundation, benefiting the Lynn Sage Scholars Program at Northwestern University .  This program supports research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center by dedicated breast cancer scientists to identify better detection and treatment options, and ultimately - a cure.
