As the warmer weather takes hold and Chicagoans start to fire up their grills, we're guessing that there'll be a lot of hamburger flipping going on.
But there's a lot more exotic flavors that can grace a grill, and that's the idea behind Nacional 27's new Gaucho BBQ service.
The new menu features traditional Brazilian flavors on 30-inch skewers such as Chimichurri Vegetables, Skirt Steak, Shrimp and Scallop and Beef Tenderloin. Each skewer comes with coco rice, black beans and three salsas.
Nacional 27 (325 West Huron) features flavors from 27 different Latin countries, and as the name would suggest, there's plenty of other options besides BBQ.
The restaurant has also unveiled a new bar menu that includes items such as Crispy Steak Nachos, a Ceviche Sampler and the Sloppy Jose.
And don't worry about eating too much, because the restaurant has DJs in the house spinning Latin beats for dancing on weekends.
