And Now, A Sneak Peek at the Barneys “Have A Foodie Holiday” Windows

Ahead of their official unveiling on November 16th, The Feast got a sneak peek at the Barneys food-themed holiday windows, courtesy of Barneys Creative Director Simon Doonan and Wine & Food Festival honcho Lee Schrager.  Schrager has teamed with Barneys on the windows to promote his forthcoming book, Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Cookbook.  Why put chefs in the windows at a fashion store?  Doonan says, "[t]here's part of fashion that is food phobic, ... but I think the Barneys customer, they're much more interested in foodie culture than they are in Lindsay Lohan."  The theme will be in Barneys windows around the country.  Check out Thread NY for our interview with Doonan from the Barneys workshop on 33rd Street.
