Local Chef To Hold Christmas Creole Cooking Demo

What's on your table for Christmas dinner? If a popular local chef has his way, more folks will be incorporating some Creole elements. Private chef Julius Russell will be presenting an interactive cooking demonstration at the Bloomingdale's Home & Furniture Store in Oakbrook Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. Russell replaces old Christmas dish standards with a blast of New Orleans flavor and will teach guests how to prepare dishes such as Creole Turkey Etoufee and Bayou Holiday Shrimp. The event will take place on the second floor of the store at 1 p.m.
