GQ Magazine has ranked Chicago as the 4th worst fashion city in their list of "The 40 Worst-Dressed Cities in America" on Friday.
The publication evokes Chicago's "third-coast-insecurity" as the culprit for it's poor taste in clothing, saying Chicagoans hedge descriptions of their style with "It's not New York, and it's not LA."
Blown out Nikes, torn cargos, novelty T-shirts, sports hoodies, and nondescript parkas are cited as common unfashionable apparel, some of which is often worn during Chicago's "11 1/2-month" winters."
Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and Boston were found to be less fashionable than Chicago.
