Like many of his Cabinet picks, President-elect Barack Obama is remaining loyal to Chicago and wearing a locally-made Hartmarx tuxedo for the inauguration.
Much attention has been given to future First Lady Michelle Obama's choice on Jan. 20, which remains uncertain, but the president-elect will be wearing a custom black tuxedo made by Hart Schaffner Marx in suburban Des Plaines. Cost? $895 at Nordstrom department stores.
Obama's latest purchase will add to his growing collection from the 121-year-old suitmaker. Earlier this year, he bought six suits from the largest U.S.-based menswear maker.
