Brrr. It’s the same story every year. The weather turns nasty, and we turn into couch potatoes. Sure, we could go out – but it’s cold. Besides, that’s why man created television.
And there’s a lot to learn on TV – World War II documentaries, what it’s like to have an Entourage, or What Not to Wear.
But what if you’re watching your favorite show, and see something you DO want to wear?
We recently heard about SeenOn.com. You can search by show or by character to find out who makes the item you covet from the latest episode. They also have a few movies (Sex and the City, of course.) If they can’t match the item exactly, they recommend similar pieces to achieve the same look, and link off to retailers who sell them.
Want Carrie’s Mary Jane Manolos? Need Victory Ford’s boots? Cool, right?
The only thing that would make it better is adding more shows. Some key players are missing, and there are some weird ones listed. (The Simpsons? Um, they’re cartoons.) Still, it’s worth a try.
