Stylist John Nollet brings "Hair Room Service Around the World" to Chicago

If for some reason you can't make it to France to visit one of hairstylist extraordinaire John Nollet's salons, there's no need to worry your well-coiffed head over it. Nollet has created his signature "Hair Room Service Around the World" program to bring his magic hands to you.

Partnering with Louis Vuitton and Park Hyatt hotels, Nollet's "Hair Room Service Around the World" concept is currently touring 11 global destinations, with Chicago as its next (and only North American) stop. The celebrity hairstylist (some famous clients: Marion Cotillard, Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis and Uma Thurman) travels with his custom-designed Louis Vuitton trunks, which are outfitted with the necessary equipment, instruments and fashionable accessories to make Nollet a one-man ambulatory salon. The deeply luxurious experience averages $1,400 for a haircut, so this kind of attention doesn't come cheap.

Nollet will set up shop at the Park Hyatt Chicago from Wednesday, July 22 through July 29. The glamorous process begins with a private hair diagnosis during events at the Park Hyatt and the Chicago Louis Vuitton boutique, followed by a haircut or color services performed in Nollet's hotel suite, re-creating the look and feel of his French salons. The stylist's collection of fashionable hair accessories that were specially designed for the tour will also be available for viewing and purchase. Ten percent of all the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Locks of Love organization, with the amount matched by Louis Vuitton and the Global Hyatt Corporation.
