Every season, it seems America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks takes things one step farther -- and weirder -- on her reality show about choosing a fresh face in the modeling world. And every year, she gets these “fresh-faced” models in stranger ensemblse with even stranger props for new takes on traditional photo shoots.
Front and center for each and every episode of madness is one of hte show's judges and famed photographer Nigel Barker, and this week, he’s in Chicago for Friday's charity event, The Joffery Ballet's Couture and Cocktails.
If you’re not planning on hitting up the event itself, you can catch Barker on Thursday pimping out his new book, “Beauty Equation,” Macy's on State Street and Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue.
Stop by Macy's lower level at noon and receive a signed copy of the book. An exclusive reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Neiman Marcus. If you get lucky, you might even be able to ask him a question about crazy Tyra. At least, that’s what we would be doing.
