Young Designers Strut Their Stuff

Union Station hosts Imagine Fashion Show

The International Academy of Design & Technology has a fresh batch of fashion newcomers in the works, and they’re letting them loose Thursday at the 31st annual Imagine Fashion Show.

The Great Hall at Union Station will be filled with urban denim, faux fur, ready–to–wear and Asian-inspired cocktail and evening wear as models walk the runway in student designs.

NBC’s Ginger Zee hosts, designer Michelle Tan (IADT graduate and designer) will showcase 10 years of designs and Miss Illinois USA 2010 Ashley Bradarich lends a hand on the runway.

Oh yea, and rockers Shiny Toy Guns handle the entertainment.

The show features more than 100 student designs chosen by a panel of local fashion insiders and industry experts.
