It's time to dig deep into that closet.
Chicago's most stylish will be out in full force on October 2 when AKIRA hosts what's traditionally one its biggest fashion extravaganzas of the year.
"Hall of Mirrors" will be held at Lincoln Park's Grossinger City Autoplex (1500 N. Dayton).
A new crop of metallic minidresses, shiny blazers, and textured blouses will take over the catwalk from brands such as Wolverine, William Rast, PF Flyers, Original Penguin, AKIRA Black Label and more.
Tickets, which traditionally sell out, are $15 for general admission and $125 for VIP, which includes runway seating, a private lounge, unlimited food and drinks and entrance to the Japonais after-party.
Proceeds from the event benefit Imerman Angels, a Chicago-based organization that matches and individually pairs a person touched by cancer with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer.
Your closet has been warned.
