That man in the hockey mask is once again terrifying Camp Crystal Lake, and movie-goers will once again be lining up to see what happens. That's right, the 12th (!!) installment of "Friday the 13th," this time helmed by big-time director Michael Bay, opens this Friday (why, yes, it just happens to be Feb. 13!). Whether you have plans to see the rebooted classic horror film on Friday or not, you can check out the official launch party starting at 10PM that night at Rednofive.
The hot River West club is getting creative with the scary soiree, serving up cocktails inspired by the enduring "Friday the 13th" franchise. The concoctions include the "Crystal Lake Martini," with chilled vodka, triple sec and blue curacao ($7); and "The Survivor," a blend of Malibu Rum and pineapple juice ($5). The first 50 guests will receive complimentary movie passes to see the film on the day of their choice, plus fun "Friday the 13th" swag, such as key chains, posters and other promo items.
