The Pride parade is a hell of a party by itself, but if you're still able to stand when it's over, here's a few party suggestions courtesy of the 312 Dining Diva.
BackLot Bash: The seventh-annual party goes down Saturday and Sunday in Andersonville. Though it's open to all, more than 2,500 women are expected to attend the two-day festival for live music, food and some serious socializing. It's shaping up to also be an all-female lineup of talent, including The Betty Fords, Crazy Rocket, Gina Glocksen and Shy Violet. And if you're a fan of Oxygen's recent season of "The Bad Girls Club," you'll recognize a familiar face: Popular castmember Flo serves as one of the hosts. 3-10pm Saturday; 2-10pm Sunday at 5238 N. Clark St. (behind Cheetah Gym). $10 until 5pm; $15 after.
Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club: Look for their booth to be bedazzled in outrageous splendor during the weekend for Pride events, particularly because it's right on the parade route. Bangin' beats and cocktail specials, including an official-looking Pride potion, will be up for grabs. And beads, lots and lots of them. 11am-2am Saturday, Sunday. No cover.
Le Passage: Have you been to Glitter yet?! No? What the hell are you waiting for?! The hottest party in Chicago usually happens every third Thursday of the month, but they're throwing a special edition for post-Pride revelers. The hosts have also teamed up with ChicagoPride to host the official after-party for the parade. The question is: Will folks still be standing straight from 9pm-4am?! Guest deejays Zebo, All The Way Kay, Earth-Tone DJs, Ross Kelly and Joe Vor Tech, plus a huge deejay star will spin. Tickets $15 in advance here or $20 at door.
Vision: For this after-Pride party, Katy Perry performs, which means she'll have to do her catchy girl-on-girl anthem, "I Kissed A Girl." Deejays Theresa and Hector Fonseca spin. 9pm-4am Sunday.
