U2's Secret Chicago Show

Band to appear at March 10 private event

U2 is definitely an "arena rock band" with the ability to instantly sell out any venue they book. Getting tickets, even if you're willing to pay top dollar, is always a challenge.

That's why an opportunity to see U2 up close & personal for free is such spectacular news. U2 is celebrating the release of their new CD "No Line on the Horizon" next week by coming to Chicago for a live event on March 10.

This will most definitely not be a huge arena show. It will be much more intimate and private, with the location being kept top secret.

Shirley Manson of Garbage will be the host. But you can't just purchase tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. You have to win to get in.

The Mix, 101.9 WTMX, is giving away tickets this week. There's three opportunities each day to snag tickets, at 10:20 a.m., 11:20 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.

You might want to get on that soon, because it's a show that will definitely go on, with or without you.
