MAXWELL TO MAIN STREET: Over the past few years, the locally-produced documentary "Cheat You Fair: The Story of Maxwell Street," has been making noise at places like Sundance. The independent film about Chicago's legendary Maxwell Street takes another step toward mainstream success with a decision by Best Buy to sell the DVD in its 29 Chicagoland stores. Best Buy hosts an in-store launch event tonight at the Roosevelt Road location that includes blues performances, screening of clips and a Q&A with filmmaker Phil Ranstrom. 7 p.m., 555 W.
