“The Voice” Auditions Headed to Chicago

NBC's mega hit "The Voice" just put the finishing touches on its first season. Aspiring contestants already have their eyes on season two.

After the competition-based signing show turned heads during its inaugural season, scores of people have decided to try for a slot on the second season, and wow judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.

There's no shortage of people in the Chicago area who want in the mix.

Thousands have already registered to try out at the Chicago auditions for Season 2 of "The Voice."

The singing auditions will be held July 15-16 at Navy Pier on a first-come first-served basis. Participants are urged to get there early to avoid long lines. Pre-registration is required on the show's Web site.

Auditions will also be held in New York, Miami, San Francisco and several other cities if you're up for taking a trip, or you can also audition online.
