If you're a business thinking about ways to go green, why wouldn't you trust a guy named Steve Green? Green is the president of GO Green Management, a local eco-conscious marketing firm.
But instead of boring boardroom meetings, his company throws a series of business networking parties to help educate companies and individuals about the benefits of green living.
The next event, called Metamorphosis, will be held on January 21 at Martini Park (151 West Erie).
"It's a networking event for business professionals 25-40 who have a green mentality, whether they are a veteran of green or a rookie of green, and want to be more environmentally conscious," Green said.
The party costs $20 per person in advance, or $30 at the door, which includes two hours of complimentary food, a VIP hosted bar from Prairie Organic Vodka, a raffle, a special dance performance and live band karaoke after the business networking.
And don't think of this as your average dull networking event -- some pretty serious dance parties have been known to break out.
