When most bars announce they'll have the fight on Saturday night, it usually means it'll be shown the big screens.
But at Durty Nellie's Saturday, the fight comes to the bar -- literally.
The Palatine bar is hosting MMA Fight Night on Saturday with the fights going down in the back room of the bar/restaurant.
It's all part of the XFO Trials, an amateur mixed martial arts division league where the fighters are trying to make their way into the pros.
You can't have fighting without drinking of course, so Nellie's is offering specials such as $3 Bud Light Lime bottles, $7 Bud/Bud Light Lime pitchers and $4.50 Bass Ale pints -- although Bud Light Lime is probably the last thing you want to drink if you're trying to act like a tough guy.
Advance tickets are $25, and as much as $60 for a VIP ringside seat.
It's not the first time you'll see a bar fight, but the only time it's actually encouraged.
