Occupy Music Festival Coming to Chicago

Two-day festival scheduled for May 12-13th in Union Park

You say you want a revolution?

Expect the protest song to reach a whole new level at the Occupy Festival, a music event at Union Park on May 12-13th endorsed by the Occupy Chicago movement.

According to a news release, the event is designed to "highlight the struggle of social and economic inequality through artistic performance."

Event organizers are looking for interested artists, musicians, sponsors and vendors for the event, and plan to host 25 acts on two stages.

The festival will take place a week before the NATO summit in Chicago, and many protestors are expected to already be in the city.

Admission is $35 per day or $55 for a two-day pass.
