Lolla Releases Schedule

Fans could be in for big conflicts

Alright indie-heads, get your calendars ready. Lollapalooza has officially released its full schedule for the August 6-8 weekend.

Like past festivals, there's a lot going on this year, and fans will likely go over the line-up with a fine-toothed comb, plotting a detailed plan of attack to catch all the performances by their favorite artists.

They could be in for some difficult choices though. At 4 p.m. Friday, punk-rock/new-wave band Devo of '80s fame will be performing at the same time as Canadian group The New Pornographers. And at the end of the night, dance pop sensation Lady Gaga conflicts with the much anticipated rock band The Strokes.

Fans shouldn't have any issues Saturday catching some of their favorites, like the xx, Spoon, and Green Day, but they'll have to do a lot of walking around. All are located on different stages.

Finally, Sunday features big names like Erykah Badu, Cypress Hill, MGMT, and Soundgarden, bringing the whole thing to a satisfying end.

Single-day passes to the Grant Park festival are now available for $90 each. Three-day passes are priced at $215.
