It may seem like an odd pairing -- a trivia competition and a vodka cocktail special -- but some people claim they're smarter after a few drinks. (But enough about our exes.) Bucktown staple Silver Cloud Bar & Grill has concocted a Thursday night event to test your various theories concerning alcohol and your brain.
During Silver Cloud's "Trivia Thursdays," the retro hangout will host a high-energy guessing game featuring four people to a team. The trivia tourney kicks off at 10PM, and the last team standing receives a $50 Silver Cloud gift certificate. (Our suggestion: Spend it all on the out-of-this-world Frito pie).
To make things more interesting, Silver Cloud also serves up $20 Ketel One cocktail flights on Thursday nights. Indulge in "All Juiced Up," featuring blood orange, pineapple, pomegranate and cranberry juices; "Straight and Fizzy," with 7-Up, soda, ginger ale and tonic; "Muddled," with blueberries, raspberries, orange and mango; "Plain Jane," served on the rocks with a garnish; and "Spanish Olive," with a blue cheese-stuffed olive, pepper-stuffed olive and tomato-stuffed olive.
Then try to remember your name, let alone who discovered the atomic bomb.
