Hundreds Line Up For ‘The Voice' Auditions

Tryouts will be held Friday and Saturday at Navy Pier on a first-come first-served basis

Navy Pier was packed early Friday morning, and not for the Ferris wheel.

Hundreds lined up to try out for NBC's second season of "The Voice," hours before the auditions began.

And the line will only get bigger. Thousands have registered to try out for the chance to sing for judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.

Auditions will be held Friday and Saturday at Navy Pier on a first-come first-served basis. Participants are urged to arrive early both days to avoid long lines. Pre-registration is required on the show's website.

Auditions also will be held in New York, Miami, San Francisco and several other cities.
