"My boss approached me and asked if I would be interesting in testing for Playboy. I did a photo shoot with two others and got a call a few days later with the good news," the 25-year-old South Side native says.
And just like that, one day she's slinging drinks, the next, she has a profile in the January issue of the legendary skin mag that just hit newsstands. The feature is called the "Search for America's Hottest Bartenders," but what makes her selection even more surprising was her lack of experience in front of the camera.
"I never did any modeling before, never even took professional photos -- much less nude photos -- but everyone was so amazing and it was a wonderful experience," she says.
"My family was a little hesitant at first, but once I assure them that Playboy was a classy magazine, they came around. Once they realized it's a once in a lifetime opportunity."
So does this mean she'll give up the club life for a career in front of the camera?
"I haven't really thought about modeling, but would love to work with Playboy in the future on anything they offer me," she says.
Not to mention the tips she'll now start getting at work will likely be too good to pass up.
