Celebrate the Big Game in a Big Way

Horseshoe Casino pulls out all the stops for its Super Bowl bash

The Venue, the Horseshoe Casino's new multipurpose entertainment facility, will host a big bash for the Big Game -- Super Bowl XLIII on Sunday, Feb. 1. The "Big Game Viewing Party" will showcase the Steelers vs. the Cardinals (and all of those commercials!) on a 50-foot screen, one of the largest in the Chicagoland area.

The free event will also feature gaming tables (this is a casino, after all), including seven blackjack, one baccarat, two roulette and two craps tables, along with quarterly giveaways of Samsung plasma TVs and a raffle of autographed sports memorabilia. Also on the event's lineup are appearances by the Horseshoe Cheerleaders, a performance by the local band Spoken Four and a live pre-game broadcast on ESPN Radio-1000 with hosts Carmen DeFalco and Howard Griffith from 12-2PM on the casino floor.

And, of course, what's the Super Bowl without the game-day grub? Concession stands will be set up and stocked with tailgating classics like burgers, nachos, buffalo wings, beer and more for purchase throughout the festivities.

The Horseshoe Casino is located in Hammond, IN, approximately 20 minutes from downtown Chicago. Free shuttles run to and from the casino from downtown; click here for locations and times. Doors open at 3PM for the "Big Game Viewing Party."
