GRILLING CLASS: Mercadito chef Patricio Sandoval shares his recipes on how to impress Independence Day party-goers at the barbeque pit with an authentic Mexican BBQ Cooking Demonstration tonight. Sandoval will demonstrate five courses of grilling that goes well beyond your basic burgers and hot dogs. Impress your friends with guajillo-arbol chile marinated skirt steak and grilled diver scallops, grilled watermelon, pickled red onion in key-lime habanero broth. YAPPY HOUR: Make My Day Monday and PAWS Chicago join forces tonight for a cocktail party designed to spread awareness and funds for the city’s largest No Kill humane organization. It all goes down at The Boundary in Wicker Park, and dogs are welcomed on the patio, weather permitting.
