Windy City Smokeout

Country music fans will have an opportunity to see some of the hottest acts in the industry this summer at the annual Windy City Smokeout, but organizers say that tickets to the event are going fast.

With multiple festivals and concerts happening throughout the weekend in Chicago, street closures, additional crowds and increased traffic is expected to hit the area.

Chicagoans are kicking off the first weekend of August with barbecue, art and family friendly festivals.

The Windy City Smokeout started cooking Thursday in Chicago.
