The last victim of the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was laid to rest Saturday. 10-year-old Uziyah Garcia was remembered for his contagious laugh, love of silly jokes, and sweet and outgoing nature.

The unidentified officers said they feared hitting children playing in the line of fire outside the school, the official told The New York Times.
