A cucumber recall tied to a salmonella outbreak in dozens of states has expanded to include more companies, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration announced.

A new salmonella outbreak involving cucumbers has led to another recall as investigators work to determine just how many were distributed in the U.S.

The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall on cucumbers grown by Bedner Growers, Inc. and distributed by Fresh Start Produce Sales, Inc. over potential Salmonella contamination.
