Chicago-area residents will soon see the “Flower Moon,” but individuals in other parts of the world are going to be treated to quite the celestial show.

On April 8, 2024, the moon will cast its shadow across a stretch of the U.S., Mexico and Canada, plunging millions of people into midday darkness.

The crew will launch from Kennedy Space Center and orbit the moon for ten days in late 2024.
