Chicago police say that one man was killed and another critically wounded in a drive-by shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood on Monday afternoon.

A Chicago man is facing charges of attempted murder and unlawful use of a weapon after he was allegedly involved in an incident that left one police officer with a gunshot wound and another with a serious leg injury after he was pinned between vehicles Monday night.

A man who was wounded in a 2015 shooting in Lawndale on the West Side has died of complications from his injuries.
