Without Representation?: Lindsay Lohan must report to court today, but no one knows who will be by her side. Attorney Robert Shapiro informed a judge Monday that he's no longer handling the 24-year-old's case, TMZ reports. Shapiro didn't say why he left, but he had previously, and publicly stated that he would only be Lohan's lawyer if she agreed to jail and followed his instructions. Apparently, that didn't happen. Last night, Lohan made light of her impending incarceration writing, "the only 'bookings' that I'm familiar with are Disney Films, never thought i'd be 'booking' into Jail...eeeks" on her twitter account. A judge sentenced the troubled actress to 90 days in jail and another 90 in rehab for violating her probation in a 2007 DUI case. Because of overcrowding in L.A. jails, she'll likely serve only a sliver of that time behind bars.
Texting Troubles: Mel Gibson may just get lucky. Text messages his former flame, Oksana Grigorieva, sent him could make her secretly-recorded conversations inadmissible in court, TMZ has learned. In California, you can only use taped conversations if the person knew it was being recorded. There are some exceptions, like if Oksana believed the conversation was related to any felony violence. Unfortunately for her in many texts, she clearly states she recorded their talks because he didn't keep us his part of the deal to support her. So now Mel's trying to prove it's all about money to her, while sources connected to her say if it was about the cash she wouldn't have rejected the $15 million settlement he offered.
Pay Raise: The cast of "Jersey Shore" are close to signing a deal that gives them a ginormous pay raise, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The group's contract negotiations held up production on season 3. They originally asked for $30,000 an episode, which would be a 200% raise. MTV reportedly countered with a number close to that. Sources say MTV mainly just wants to keep Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and Pauly D on board, which makes sense considering all the other ones are so boring. Season 2 premieres next Thursday.
NO SHOW: Good news! Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are not getting their own reality TV show. A rep for Palin tells UsMagazine.com the recent web rumors are untrue. "Well several networks have pitched different concepts, Bristol has not agreed to participate in any show. Her focus remains on doing what is best for Tripp and her family." To me that sounds more like they have signed up to do a show just yet. I have to admit I would watch it!
Sexy Shoot: She's only 14, but one of the younger, less known, Kardashian girls is turning heads. Kendall Jenner did a sexy bikini photo shoot and she sure looks more like a model then any of her sisters do. Big sis Kim posted the photos on her blog and wrote, "They turned out so gorgeous!! I am so proud of Kendall. She's going to take over the modeling world...you just watch!"
